The Wedding Filmmaker Trap

As you’re reading this, we’re currently on a plane to Greece.

But I want to dispel a myth right now:

You don’t need to travel to be a successful wedding filmmaker.

You see other filmmakers in Italy, Iceland, and Bali

Posting the most gorgeous content you’ve ever seen.

But behind the scenes, most of them are actually losing money.

After flights, rental cars, hotels, meals, and—most importantly—your time, you’re often earning less than you would for a local gig.

And no one talks about it.

So what does it all mean?

Your goal isn’t to be busy. It’s to be profitable.

And to get there, you need a strong foundation. Without it, you’re just building a glorified side hustle.
