(Free e-book) 25 tricky client-conversations and how to handle them
Here is how we handle all our biggest objections
25 Most Common Client Objections
(… and how to handle them like a pro)
After doing consultation calls for hundreds of clients, both for weddings and corporate work, we released a free e-book with the most common client scenarios and objections, and how we navigate them
(2-minute read…with a freebie 🙂)
We hope you’ve had a good week Runaways,
2 weeks ago, I was at a conference when someone told an interesting story about cheeseburgers.
She said:
“Think about your local burger joint. They make some of the best burgers, fries, and shakes you’ve ever had.
They’ve been there for 50 years, and that’s their only location, and to date, they need every single day to be profitable enough to keep their restaurant open.
Now think about McDonald’s.
They sell terrible burgers (though I beg to differ), yet they are worth billions of dollars.
The truth is, it doesn’t matter if you make the best burger on earth. If you don’t know how to sell it, you won’t be profitable.”
Dang.
Think about that last line, and apply it to your own business.
We got into this crazy world of wedding filmmaking because we love creating memories for people on the most special day of their lives.
But let’s be real—passion alone doesn’t pay the bills.
The most talented filmmakers aren’t always the ones making the most money. The ones who know how to sell their work, handle objections, and communicate their value are the ones landing $7K+ weddings while others struggle to get booked.
That’s why we put together a free eBook with the 25 most common client objections—and exactly how to handle them like a pro.
“Why are you so expensive?” (Handled.)
“Can we get a discount?” (Handled.)
“Can we get the RAW footage?” (Handled.)
“We love your work, but we have a friend who can film for cheaper.” (Handled.)
The 25 Client-Conversations for Wedding Filmmakers e-book will not help you instantly charge more, but it will help you have more confidence in handling client calls, and enstilling trust in them to book you as their wedding videographer.

Don’t just be the best filmmaker—be the one who knows how to sell your work, too.
